Antimo Magnotta | Pianist, Composer & Concept Artist

A musician with a powerful story and a unique artistic vision, Antimo Magnotta is an Italian pianist, composer, recording artist, and author based in the UK. His music blends classical, jazz, ambient, and electronic influences to create visionary soundscapes that evoke deep emotion and introspection.
Beyond sound, Antimo is a storyteller and sonic navigator. Through his work, he invites listeners on an emotional voyage—a journey beyond notes and melodies into immersive landscapes of healing, reflection, and self-discovery. He sees the piano not just as an instrument, but as a ‘sailing vessel,’ guiding audiences through intimate and transformative musical experiences.
In 2012, while performing aboard the Costa Concordia cruise ship, Antimo survived the tragic sinking of the vessel—a life-changing event that shaped his artistry and personal outlook. Music became his refuge and therapy after surviving PTSD, deepening his understanding of its power as a tool for emotional healing.
Since then, Antimo has dedicated himself to sharing his story of resilience through music that inspires and uplifts. His journey has been featured on BBC, NBC New York, TED Talk, Classic FM, The Times, and the Evening Standard, among others.
His unique project, DeePiano©, offers immersive live piano concerts designed as meditative, regenerative journeys—available both as private performances and bespoke commissioned compositions.
Antimo regularly collaborates with visual artists, filmmakers, and choreographers to bring his evocative soundscapes to interdisciplinary projects. His music is deeply connected to wellness, music therapy, and meditation, offering live and recorded performances tailored for retreats, therapeutic spaces, and wellness centers. Whether in concert halls or intimate settings, his art bridges creativity and healing.
As a concert pianist and concept artist, Antimo performs worldwide, sharing his expressive and deeply moving artistry with audiences across the globe.
In addition to his music, Antimo is an author. His recent book, How Music Saved My Life, explores his transformative journey of survival and the power of music.

Antimo’s music is available on Spotify, iTunes, Bandcamp, YouTube, and most digital platforms.

Antimosphere / seven memories (2023)
Seven memories is an album of profound intimacy. it was entirely recorded during a brief holiday at my parents' house in Recale, a small village in South Italy, on my old piano in the room where I had lived for many years,
They are musical contemplations on the things I still hold dear to me—my life, dreams, thoughts and hopes—all of which were born in that tiny room.
